Your income being a self-employed business operator, you can set your own fees and advice can be sought from our coordination unit. As many parents are eligible for Child Care Benefit (CCB) fee subsidies from Centerlink, the coordination unit pays you the CCB on behalf of the parent and the parent pays you the outstanding difference of the full fee. Office will inform you with CCB amount and parents fees. Happy Child Family Day care sets and collects an administration levy that is reviewed each year. The levy is collected from the parent’s fees.

Child Development officers are responsible for providing professional support and training to Educators and ensuring quality practices are delivered to the children and families enrolled with the scheme.
If you are an enthusiastic, motivated child care professional with demonstrated experience working within the children and families services sector, we would like to hear from you. Relevant ECT or Diploma level child care qualifications, WWCC, Australian driver license, willing to use own car and previous experience of minimum 2 years in Family Day Care Scheme as a CDO are essential.
This is an identified position under the Child Protection Legislation and applicants will be required to sign a declaration and undergo investigation by the relevant government agency. It is an offence under the NSW Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1998 for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position.
